Brick Street Burrito was built on a simple idea: bring the real taste of San Diego back home to Indiana. While attending Point Loma Nazarene University, Evan and Christina Costas fell in love with authentic California burritos — the kind locals swear by. When they returned to the Midwest, nothing compared, so they set out to recreate it the right way.
A true California burrito skips the rice and beans. Instead, it’s loaded with seasoned steak, melted cheese, fresh pico, sour cream, guacamole, and — most importantly — French fries. It’s the burrito that put us on the map and the one our guests keep coming back for. To keep it authentic, we import our tortillas directly from a traditional San Diego tortilleria — because the tortillas available in the Chicago market just aren’t the same. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference in every bite.
While the California burrito is the staple, many regulars swear by the Surf & Turf — carne asada and sautéed shrimp with fries, cheddar, guac, pico, and chipotle aioli. Bold, packed with flavor, and a must-try.
We make our salsas in-house daily — roja, caliente, and verde. Want the full experience? Add a little to every bite. That’s the San Diego way. Not in the mood for a burrito? We’ve got you covered with bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and fresh chips with house-made guac. Canned beer and wine are available for carryout, so grab a couple on your way to the park or heading home.
Dine in. Carry out. Delivery.
Made fresh. Made right.
